At PSUMC's Child Development Center, we want children to:
• Develop an ability to communicate with teachers and classmates, to
hear and imitatesounds used to form words, and to understand and
follow simple instructions.
• Develop an awareness and appreciation of music and drama.
• Become life-long learners and lovers of learning.
• Become both planners and decision-makers.
• Learn more about self and others through informal role play.
• Become able to be attentive and to concentrate.
• Develop a growing concept of the relationship of numbers, time,
space and form.
• Have opportunities for using art and craft materials.
• Become able to make wise choices for their own well-being and
that of others.
• Become aware that each person is worthy of God's love and the
love of others.
• Experience the loving care of adults whose own lives exemplify
commitment to the Christian community.
