Our Church Nursery
On Sunday mornings and during most other church functions, Polk Street offers nursery care to all families with young children. For children from six weeks through five years, we provide a safe, clean, and loving place for children
during church activities.
The nursery at Polk Street is staffed by employees of our Child Development Center and by Church Nursery Staff. Two workers staff each nursery room at all times. At least one person in the nursery has been trained in infant/child CPR and first aid.
Pagers and/or nursery ID cards are issued to parents & guardians when children are placed in nursery care.
Parents of nursery-aged children should bring the following supplies (if needed), clearly labeled with the child’s first and last name:
- diapers & wipes
- change of clothes
- bottles
- sippy cups
- special snacks.
Toddlers & 2's
Our two year olds participate in the “Toddlers & 2’s” Sunday School curriculum. It includes age appropriate activities to help the children learn about Jesus, understand that God loves them, know that Church is a place where they are loved, and to discover their gifts in God’s world, such as their minds, bodies, families, and friends.
3's, 4's, & 5's
Our three and four year old class works out of the “Exploring Faith” series. Each Sunday, the lessons of Exploring Faith immerse the children in the Bible story and help them to learn what the Bible has to say to them today, at their age level.
During services or special events, please go to the main nursery room, #116, if you have any questions about nursery care.

For more information regarding the church nurseries, please pick up a nursery handbook from any nursery room or call the church office at 374-2891.
