Cherub Choir/Tower Chimers - Grades K-1
We meet Wednesday evening from 6:30 and 7:30 pm. This year, our Children’s Ministries Director, Ken Knight, will be working with the kids in Children’s Village Room 4. We will learn songs and sing with Ken Knight, and we will also receive instruction from Noel Paul Laur in playing chimes.
Bethlehem Choir/Wesley Ringers - Ages 8-13/Grades 3-8.
We meet Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:00pm in the Sanctuary. In addition to choral music, we will work with organist Noel Paul Laur who will be instructing us in Hand bells. Some weeks, we will focus more on the singing; other weeks – the ringing. We may even do some combined works in monthly/every other month worship for singers and ringers, published by Choristers Guild. Come Sing and Ring!
Chapel Choir - Grades 6-12
We meet Sunday evenings at 5pm in the Choir Rehearsal Room. We sing once a month, as well as with the Sanctuary Choir in Worship. Chapel Choir will be a part of UMY Evening. Come sing in the Choir, stay for fellowship and snacks, and then attend UMY led by Brad!
Sanctuary Choir - Ages 18 and up.
We meet every Wednesday evening from 7:30-9pm in the Choir Rehearsal Room. We sing every Sunday morning for 10:55am Worship Service, and occasionally for 8:30am Worship Service. We are made up of professional, amateur, intermediate, and beginning singers and musicians. We offer in worship annually several cantatas with full orchestra for Christmas, Good Friday, and Easter. We will also perform on the PSUMC Concert Series this year. We are accompanied by our organist, Noel Paul Laur.
Jubilate Ringers - Ages 14/Grades 9 and up.
We meet every Wedenesday evening, 5:15 - 6:25 p.m. in the Sanctuary or Children’s Village Rm. 4.
Music repertoire is for 2 – 3 octaves of Schulmerich Hand bells, moderately easy – moderately difficult. We ring in worship at least once every month or every other month. At least 10 ringers (no previous experience required; just the ability to count) are needed.
Singing S.T.A.R.S - Age 55 and up
We meet once a week on Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30am. We sing favorite anthems, hymns, and learn new music to share in Sunday Worship Services, as well as to share with area retirement homes.
