Give Hope

Greetings in the Name of Christ Our Lord!

Thank you for faithfully supporting the work of Christ through PSUMC.  Through your faithfulness, lives are touched, minds are challenged, hearts are inspired and the love of God is shared with many.

As we faithfully follow through on our commitments for 2012, it is time to look to the future and complete our pledge cards for 2013.  In 2012 we accomplished an amazing step in the renovations and newly created facilities.  In 2013 God is calling us to put these facilities to use by serving the community and shifting our focus to "building faithful disciples for Jesus Christ."

Our Stewardship Campaign theme this year is “give Hope” and is based on Romans 5:5 “…and hope does not disappoint us.”   Shawn and I feel blessed by God to be here at PSUMC and as an expression of that we will be “stepping up” our giving by 1% for 2013.  Would you do the same?  Step up 1% in your 2013 giving?

In my first sermon to you in June, 2011, I invited us all to “get in the boat”.  I’m glad I’m in the boat with you and Christ at PSUMC!  What each one of us gives makes a difference in the church; together our gifts help the church to changes lives through Christ!

Again, please prayerfully complete a Pledge Card (click here for a pdf version) and turn it in on or before our Commitment Sunday, November 11, 2012.  Thank you for participating in our annual stewardship drive to support the operating and ministry budget at PSUMC.
