Volunteer Opportunity--Front Porch Visitors

Many of you many not know that Polk Street UMC has an outreach ministry designed to welcome our first time visitors each week.  Our front porch ministry uses a rotation of volunteers to take a gift each Monday to our first time visitors from Sunday’s worship services. 

Volunteerssimply come by the church office, pick up the gifts, the names and addresses of the first time visitors on Monday afternoon and deliver them to the homes.  This front porch visit is just what it says, a thank you to the person for visiting PSUMC and the delivery of a gift bag.  These visits take just a few minutes, but make a big statement to the recipients that we are glad they were our guests in worship.
