Young Adult Ministries

If you are new to Amarillo, and between the ages of 20-35 we're glad you found us. Meeting people, finding the good restaurants, and realizing that the names of the streets here can change in mid-intersection: There's a lot to making connections in a new locale. We hope you'll connect with us at one of the opportunities listed below:

LEARN

We talk about faith, life, work and fun. Get connected to a deeper relationship with God in a supportive atmosphere where you can ask, think and share with others.

We offer three Sunday Classes for young adults: The College Class meets in room 402, The Young Professionals class meets in room 302. The Foundations Class meets in room 201. Classes meet at 9:40 a.m-10:45 a.m.

There are also wealth of learning options offered at various times and seasons; mid-week evening classes, Bible studies, and special classes like Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.

SERVE

Service and Mission Opportunities are organized every quarter. Our most recent young adult projects have been at the local Habitat for Humanity. These projects help you connect to those in need.

SHARE

Each class has a variety of fellowship activities. The first Friday of each month our young professionals are out to eat and then on to a sports event, dancing, or just listening to music. A monthly dinner is scheduled once each month and there are spontaneous opportunities almost every week to share a meal together, usually at a local restaurant. We also meet at church wide events and in members' homes. Fellowship activities help you connect to old and new friends.

WORSHIP

Worship opportunities happen every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. and at the special seasons of the church year including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday and Easter. Worship connects you to the strength and power of faith in God that will keep you going.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES

Young Adults are involved in ministries throughout our church and community. This is just a short listing of ways that young adults are active in the life of the church. You will also find us in choirs, men's and women's groups, teaching Sunday School, sponsoring our youth group, helping make the decisions about the mission and ministry of the church and serving on church-wide mission trips.
