Adult Small Groups

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
Matthew 18:20

We realize you can get lost at Polk Street with the size and broad scope of ministries at our church.  We also realize that our faith most easily grows and matures in smaller and more intimate settings than in corporate worship. At Polk Street we have small groups that meet from many different stages of life.  Check out the various groups below and use the form at the bottom of the page to help find a group that's right for you.

Adult Sunday School Classes

On Sundays, we offer classic Christian education in the form of Sunday school. We have many classes organized generally by age/stage of life. Classes rotate through types and sets of curricula. To learn more about the specific classes, click the button below!

Polk Street Methodist Men

Men's Breakfast
Wesley Hall | Each Friday 6:45 a.m.

As Christian men, we were never intended to go it alone. This past year has been challenging as husbands, fathers, and friends. While we have been “socially distant,” none of us want to be “emotionally distant.” We are excited that our Methodist Men's Ministry at Polk Street offers a chance to reset and reconnect with other Christian men - to encourage, support, and inspire each other in the adventures we live, through the battles we fight, and for the others we serve. Our hope is that through Men’s Ministry we will provide avenues in which intergenerational relationships are cultivated and men can grow deeper in their faith. Breakfast is provided each first Friday of the month. Other Fridays you are invited to bring your own breakfast.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” – Proverbs 27:17

Polk Street Methodist Women

Our women join together in order to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Our Methodist Women's unit is divided into various smaller groups to provide more intimacy, support, and closer relational ties.
