Music Ministries at Polk Street
Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious! Psalm 66:2
Our Music Program seeks to express the love and the glory of God. Its primary purpose is to enhance the worship experience as an inspiring and artistic expression of service and praise to God.
Polk Street United Methodist Church has a rich tradition of musical excellence. In addition to its recognized commitment to the spiritual life of the congregation, our music ministry also makes a special contribution to the cultural life of Amarillo and the surrounding area. In doing so, we strive to enrich the lives of those we touch, and to gather into the congregation those who would believe in and work to advance Christ's kingdom.
We have four singing choirs and two hand bell choirs. There is a place in the music program for anyone who wishes to learn, to grow, and to serve. Please call the church office for more information or email our Minister of Music, Mike Ware (mikeware@psumc.com) or our Associate Director, Dr. Noel-Paul Laur (noelpaullaur@psumc.com).
